01Controller and scope

Julius Fondation, Fondation complémentaire de prévoyance de Julius, is the controller for personal data processing connected with this website. Its address is Rue Firmin-Massot 1, 1206 Geneva, Switzerland.

This policy covers the public website, its library of general documents and contact enquiries. It does not describe the processing involved in administering individual pension records, which requires separate information.

02Browsing and documents

To display the pages and files you request, the server receives technical information, including your IP address, the requested resource and browser information. Technical logs may also record the date, time and outcome of requests to support the operation and security of the website. The logging configuration of the final hosting service remains to be confirmed.

Document search and filters operate within your browser: search terms are not sent to a search service. Downloads are limited to approved general documents and blank forms. Personal pension certificates are not published in this library.

03Contact enquiries

In the current version, the form does not transmit any enquiries. The placeholder contact details displayed on the website must not be used to send a message or make a call.

Once activated, the form will transmit your category (employer, member, beneficiary or other), full name, email address, subject and message, the page language and, if provided, your company and telephone number. This information will be used to direct and answer your enquiry.

The website does not save messages in its local storage. Do not include medical data, identity numbers, pension certificates or detailed financial information. Ask the Foundation for an appropriate way to exchange personal documents.

04Cookies and browser storage

The current website code does not set cookies and contains no analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking tools. Fonts and images are served with the website rather than loaded from an external provider.

A temporary flag in browser session storage prevents the introduction from replaying within the same tab session. It contains no personal identifier or form content and is not sent to a third party. It normally disappears when that session ends, although session restoration may preserve it. The website remains accessible if this storage is blocked.

05Recipients and processing countries

Once the contact service is activated, people authorised to handle enquiries within the Foundation may access them. Hosting, email or form-processing providers may be involved to the extent needed for their services.

Production providers and their processing countries have not yet been selected or confirmed. These details, together with any applicable safeguards for disclosure abroad, must be specified before activation. This version therefore cannot state that all data will be stored in Switzerland.

06Retention and security

Exact retention periods for logs, enquiries and their backups must be defined with the selected providers. The proposed approach is to keep data for as long as needed for its purpose, then delete or anonymise it, subject to legal obligations and the establishment or defence of rights.

Before launch, the Foundation must arrange access limited to authorised people, protection of communications and deletion according to the agreed periods. This notice does not present any fixed retention period or unverified hosting safeguard as already implemented.

07Your rights and requests

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), you may request access to your personal data and, where the legal conditions are met, correction or deletion. Retention obligations or other exceptions may limit these rights.

08Updates to this policy

This policy will be updated to reflect the hosting service, contact service and processing actually implemented. The version date at the top of this page identifies the latest update.
